Do you remember the first time you listened to Alain Caron?
Whatever your age or skill level, there was an “intimidating” first-time experience listening to Alain Caron for most of us.
Too good to be of this world: magnificent sound, technical ability, musical taste and compositional talent are just a few aspects that set the great Canadian master apart.
And if you’re like me, it has been a pure love relationship ever since, and in your heart, you would like to be at least one-tenth as good as he is.
As each of us has learned the hard way, you can’t play like Alain Caron by simply playing sequences of notes taken at random here and there.
To approach his style we must go much deeper, understand the concept behind every note, every touch on the instrument, the crucial technique and each of the beautiful characteristics this great master offers us when he plays!
Just as you speak and express your language flawlessly, in the same way, playing the bass is also a language.
The moment you learn Alain Caron music the way you know your mother tongue, you can express whatever image or vision you have in mind.
Instead of spending a massive amount of time trying to be mediocre imitators, once you have developed a solid mastery and internalized Alain Caron’s style you will know exactly what to do to achieve that in your bass.
In these situations, we are a little confused and a little lost as we stare at our bass, disappointed that we don’t yet have enough preparation to be able to play that piece.
We probably start making changes here and there, simplifying parts and hoping to get satisfactory results. Unfortunately, this is a problem that many bassists, guitarists, and musicians, in general, get stuck into.
Without clarity, direction, and a perfect vision, it’s impossible to get the desired results. The truth is, if we don’t have a clear plan of action, we’ll never be able to improve, and therefore, we’ll never figure out what’s wrong with our playing.
That’s why we need a system that guides you step-by-step through every single sound element you need to know to control the flow of notes on your instrument, the way you want and according to your needs.
This is the key to making extraordinary progress and turning your passion for music into absolutely breathtaking works of art.
And that’s why Alain Caron created
